Fonotipia Project

Fonotipia Project is an artistic collaboration between Giulia Rossi and Gianluca Ferranti, merging sound and image to create immersive multisensory experiences that bring a unique artistic perspective, combining philosophy, aesthetic, and environmental sound exploration. Fonotipia Project aims to be a dynamic platform for artistic expression. Since 2016, they have hosted workshops at Technotown, Rome, blending analog photography and innovative soundscapes. Giulia Rossi is a photographer from Rome, she has a background in philosophy and aesthetics. Educated at the European Institute of Design, she specializes in black & white photography and alternative techniques like cyanotype and anthotypes, which inform her unique artistic approach. Gianluca Ferranti is a roman sound designer and electronic musician focused on ambient music and soundscapes. His work explores the relationship between sound and space and includes music for various organizations.
