Sophie Sherwood

Sophie Sherwood (they/them) is a visual artist and creative workshop facilitator based in the South West of England. They explore the self and nature through light-sensitive materials and darkroom techniques. Sophie graduated with an MA in Photography from UWE, Bristol, in 2019, using their grandmother’s photographic archive to create new work. They also hold a BA in Photography from Plymouth University, earned in 2012. Sophie has exhibited nationally, internationally, and online. They have worked with various organizations, including the National Trust, Alzheimer's Society, Bristol Photo Festival, One25, The Photographer's Gallery, and Bristol Folk House.
