Emma Backer

Originally from Pittsburgh, discovered her passion for photography during her childhood at summer camp, eventually turning it into her profession. She pursued her education at the Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a BFA in fine art photography and art history. Upon relocating to New York City, Emma leveraged her photography background to work across various sectors of the industry, including artist agencies, publishing houses, stock sites, and tech companies. Her work has been showcased in galleries and festivals such as the AnalogueNow Photo Festival, PH21 Gallery, The Stage Gallery, Vermont Center for Photography, and more.
