Annette G. Parra (she/they) is a queer Venezuelan photographer and visual artist based in Paris since 2016. With a degree in film studies, she has moved into film archives while continuing as a photo reporter. Her work explores memory, transformation, body movement, nature, and cultural identity through experimental photography and video animation, combining analogue and digital techniques. Parra’s art challenges perceptions, blending color, form, and movement to blur the lines between reality and imagination. She has a bachelor's in Communications and two master's degrees in Film Studies and Film Heritage. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she’s currently developing a mixed-media photography installation and an experimental documentary on gender identity.
