Céline Pitch is an artist, media scientist, and art educator fascinated by the human need to capture the world in images. Her artistic practice focuses on experimental photography and alternative printing processes, starting in 2016 with pinhole photography at the University of Madrid. Her work is based on experimentation, incorporating chemical processes, nature, and chance into her creations. Inspired by the discreet things around her, she uses her body and plants to create unexpected structures and forms. Born between northern Germany and southern France, Céline has a deep passion for diverse cultures and languages. She currently leads a community darkroom for young adults and teaches experimental photography at the University of Potsdam.
