Christopher Bennett

Christopher Bennett is a Detroit-based photographer who previously founded and directed Newspace Center for Photography in Portland, Oregon, from 2002 to 2012. He currently operates Image Works, specializing in fine art printing and artwork reproduction. His work focuses on single images that undergo various manipulations, altering color and texture to evoke an otherworldly effect. This approach encourages viewers to question their interpretation of the depicted place. Bennett’s goal is to prompt reflection on humanity’s relationship with the environment and foster greater appreciation for the balance between people and nature. His work is displayed as lenticular prints, where two variations of the same image shift as the viewer moves around them.
