Giorgia Pinzauti & Tommaso Paris

Tommaso Paris and Giorgia Pinzauti are an artistic duo who blend philosophical and cinematic approaches with art history. By merging these disciplines, they aim to push the boundaries of traditional storytelling and visual art, creating works that challenge perceptions of time, memory, and identity. Their work spans various mediums, from photography to video art, such as in inSURrealist SURreaction (2023), an AV live performance that explores the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, composed of archive films, mostly from the Dada and Surrealist periods, edited together and accompanied by the original electroacoustic sound of the group Hey! Himalaya. They explore themes and methods that seek to push the limits of their own perception, both in the creative process and in the techniques they employ.
