Jill Enfield

Jill Enfield is a fine art photographer, educator, and curator, specializing in historical techniques and alternative processes. She leads workshops and lectures worldwide and has authored three award-winning books on alternative photography techniques, used in schools globally. Enfield’s work has been featured on book covers, magazines, and websites, with exhibitions in the USA and Europe. She was the keynote speaker at the Finnish Darkroom Association in 2022 and became an advisor to the Lishui International Handmade Photography Center in 2020. A faculty member at Parsons since 1989, her work is held in museums and private collections. Her series on immigration, first exhibited at Ellis Island, and her current project, The Way Home, both utilize the wet plate collodion process.
