Lilian Barbon

Lilian Barbon is a visual artist, photographer, and art educator with a Master's degree in Visual Arts and a specialization in Photography. Since 2002, she has conducted research in artistic photography, participating in both national and international exhibitions and festivals. Currently, she leads hybrid photography and art education workshops in various regions of Brazil. She has worked in curatorship and cultural event production and is the founder of the workshops "Luz na Lata" and "Caixas Mágicas." Throughout her career, she has received several awards, including the prestigious "Llamale H" in Montevideo and the prize at the XX Encontro de Artes Plásticas. Her artistic practice focuses on experimental photography, combining mixed techniques and exploring themes such as the body, identity, and self-representation.
