Mariana Manuela Bellone

Mariana Bellone is a photographer, documentary filmmaker, and educator in photography and film workshops from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her work focuses on the direction, camera, and editing of her own films, addressing themes related to the body, gender, representation, and power relations in photography and cinema. She works with archival material and is particularly interested in its re-signification over time. In photography, she has participated in various publications and exhibitions, both solo and group. Mariana coordinates Contar nuestra historia, a workshop for developing documentary projects aimed at women and dissidents, and offers individual advice on documentary projects in progress. Her filmography includes Un tigre arriba de la mesa (2018) and Yo soy Alma (2022).
