Marystela Camacho

Originally from Cajamarca, Peru, Marystela Camacho is a self-taught photographer and visual artist. Her work combines photography and textile techniques to explore cultural and natural memories, blending the ephemeral with the permanent in compositions rich in narrative depth. In 2024, she debuted her first solo exhibition, “Mestizo Weaves,” at the Miguel Espinach Cultural Center, reviving Cajamarca’s cultural identity with intervened images. Since 2019, her work has been featured in collective exhibitions like the IV and V editions of the Analog Photography Salon La Otra Luz.
