Pilar Vezzani

Pilar, 34-year-old artist and teacher. She lives in Chile and primarily focuses on teaching, which she considers, in some way, her fundamental artistic practice. She holds a degree in Visual Arts with a major in Printmaking and has complemented her artistic education with studies in pedagogy. Pilar works as an art teacher at a Chilean school. The development of her practice is centered on photography and its language. She is interested in exploring the poetic possibilities of the image in relation to the landscape, as well as the intersection of photography with other visual languages, such as graphic and painting techniques. Through research and learning about the infinite possibilities of experimental photographic processes, she hopes to enrich her teaching practice and extend this language to another continent.
