Barbara Justice

A visual artist and arts educator whose research and studio practice focus on photographic arts, with a strong interest in experimental techniques, artist books, printmaking, collage, and creative writing. Her work integrates artistic production and teaching across different educational levels, and she currently teaches photography at Madison West High School. Her teaching experience includes Madison College, Santa Reparata International School of Art in Italy, the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Peters Valley School of Craft, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Her artwork has been exhibited regionally, nationally, and internationally. She is a member of several professional organisations related to arts education, photography, and book arts. She holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a BFA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
