Colectivo 08mm

An analogue photography collective and community based in Barcelona, founded by photographer Calvin and photographer Kiana, who work primarily with film and share a commitment to creating open spaces for practice, experimentation, and collective learning. What began as an informal meeting point has evolved into an accessible platform where photographers of different levels explore image-making through direct experience, street-based practice, and pressure-free creation. The collective organizes meetups, workshops, and activities focused on urban portraiture, visual storytelling, and hands-on processes, encouraging photography rooted in the city, observation, and everyday narratives. Beyond technical instruction, the project promotes a way of seeing grounded in exchange, collaboration, and individual sensibility, understanding photography as a living, shared, and continually evolving practice.
