Dietlinde DuPlessis
United States
A visual artist whose practice focuses on photographic experimentation and cameraless processes. After an early professional trajectory in the European corporate sector, she maintained an ongoing engagement with photography through courses, competitions, and collective exhibitions. She later pursued studies in analogue and digital photography at the University of Arizona, marking a shift toward a more experimental practice. In recent years, her work has centred on techniques such as lumen prints and, in particular, anthotypes, expanding her research to include embroidery on vintage photographs and collage. Her work has been included in exhibitions during Month of Photography Denver 2025 and in publications associated with Anthotype Day 2024 and 2025. Recent works have been reproduced on urban festival banners in Laramie for two consecutive years. She currently divides her time between Wyoming and Arizona, with frequent stays in Germany and Spain.
