Laura Brinkmann

A Spanish-German photographic artist whose practice focuses on the experimental exploration of time through long-term projects. Her work investigates historical photographic techniques combined with digital processes, adopting an approach akin to scientific experimentation based on testing, failure, and continuous learning. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Granada and a degree in Visual Communication, specialising in Photography, from the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Her work has been presented in group exhibitions at institutions such as the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, the Taipei Museum of Contemporary Art, CAC Málaga, and the Andalusian Centre of Photography. She has participated in art fairs, including Photo Brussels Festival and Lisbon Art Fair, and has presented solo exhibitions within the framework of PHotoESPAÑA. She has received several awards and institutional production grants supporting her artistic practice.
