Tommy Goguely
France
A visual artist whose practice operates at the intersection of photography, image theory, and conceptual research. With a background in fundamental physics and aeronautical engineering, he develops a critical approach that examines the conditions of photographic existence in the digital age, focusing on the tensions and continuities between analogue and digital regimes. This transition is not understood as a rupture, but as a space of friction, reactivation, and historicisation of the image. Through strategies such as sensor disruption, algorithmic diversion, and the reinterpretation of foundational icons, his work questions the technical and conceptual limits of photography. His practice proposes a rereading of the medium in which the image is not exhausted by its apparatus, but critically activated through it.
