Gabriele Coassin

Gabriele Coassin, an artisan photographer and reporter in his youth, was included in the first Bolaffi volume/catalogue of Italian photographers; later, he became an awarded filmmaker and author of professional texts, teaching at Italian universities and academies. Now, in retirement, he has returned to his old photographic passion, tirelessly experimenting with alchemy to be reproduced in targeted workshops or educational-experiential digital detox courses for new generations, leading to the rediscovery of the slow manual processes of Proto-Photography and ancient pre-cinema practices.
