Jevgenija Frolova

Educated as a classical musician, she also participates in a chamber orchestra and enjoys time with horses. Seeking to express herself in visual arts, she began analog photography in 2020, captivated by its mesmerizing process. Her main interest lies in portraying women as mystical characters connected to nature and their natural beauty, reflecting her own journey of feminine identity recovery after a serious illness. Inspired by classical music, nature, fairytales, and folklore, she employs multiple exposures, long exposures, and expired materials in her work. Exhibiting in group shows like "Synergy" and being recognized as a finalist for the best young Latvian photographer in 2022, she continues to study at ISSP School in Riga to expand her photographic perspective. Eager to join the Experimental Photo Festival Community, she finds inspiration and joy in its celebration of diverse photographic techniques.
