The Horizontal Portfolio Reviews, coordinated by Bridget Conn, are meeting spaces between four curators from four international galleries and the participating artists, designed to strengthen and refine artistic proposals for potential international exhibition opportunities. This format creates a direct dialogue between artists and international gallery curators.
The focus is on fostering a robust and interactive exchange of ideas, where participants benefit not only from receiving professional feedback on their work, but also from engaging critically with the work of their peers. Each participant will present a PDF portfolio that will be collectively discussed and evaluated.
Participants will also be invited to step into the role of curator by selecting the work of one peer and anonymously advocating for it, articulating what makes it compelling. The invited curators may select artists for future international exhibition opportunities.

Artphilein

Photometria
The Photometria International Photography Festival, organized by the non-profit organization Entefxis, has been held annually in Ioannina for 17 years and is recognized as one of Greece's leading photography events.
The festival showcases contemporary photography and supports both emerging and established artists from Greece and abroad. Committed to education, collaboration, and cultural exchange, Photometria serves as an intercultural platform where diverse perspectives and visual languages converge, fostering creativity, dialogue, and the ongoing development of photographic culture.
The Halide Project
The Halide Project is a volunteer-run, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the continued practice and appreciation of analog photography and historical photographic processes.
Based in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood, The Halide Project serves both the local and international photographic community through exhibitions, educational programs (both in-person and virtual), collaborations with other organizations, and, most recently, its new community darkroom, which features a collective black and white lab, a film developing area, and a dimly lit room dedicated to working with alternative and historical processes.

Experimental Photo Festival
As coordinator, Bridget Conn selects one participant to present an exhibition at the 2027 edition of the Experimental Photo Festival. This opportunity allows the selected artist to showcase their work on an international platform dedicated to experimental and alternative photographic practices, while also connecting with a global community of artists, curators, and researchers involved in the festival.
