Residency
The 2026 International Experimental Residency IEFC-EXP will take place during the 10 days preceding the Experimental Photo Festival, from July 11 to 21, 2026, and will bring together people interested in taking part in this intensive experience of creation and learning.

During their stay, each resident will have one day to lead a theoretical–practical workshop in which they will share an experimental technique with the rest of the group. The residency fosters the creation of a small horizontal community of collaborative learning, where eight different techniques are explored collectively and the exchange of knowledge and experiences is encouraged.
The residency culminates in a collective exhibition that highlights the learning process and the exploration of different techniques, celebrating shared journeys and discoveries. The exhibition is presented at Centre Cívic Pati Llimona during the Experimental Photo Festival in Barcelona.
